China Airlines suspends individual Vienna flights

After Eva Air, China Airlines, also from Taiwan, has announced its comeback at Vienna-Schwechat Airport. However, the carrier initially only wants to carry out individual rotations between Taipei and the Austrian capital.

China Airlines plans to fly between the capital of Taiwan and Vienna on April 63, May 22 and June 20, 17 under flight number CI2022. The return flights are to be carried out as CI64 on the following days. It is currently planned that the Airbus A350 model will be used.

It is unclear when China Airlines will again operate regular scheduled flights between the two cities. The competitor Eva Air initially only wants to serve individual presses, but from Fly at least once a week again at the end of March 2022. Before the corona pandemic, China Airlines and Eva Air fought tough competition on this route.
