China is taking another step towards normality: After easing the strict CoV policy, the People's Republic wants to restore almost 90 percent of pre-crisis air traffic by the end of January.

The bottom line is that there are up to 11.280 flights a day, 9.280 of which are on domestic routes. By January 6, 2023, China wants to increase airline traffic to 70 percent of the flight movements of the comparable period of 2019 with these key figures, as reported by the German aviation portal Aero with reference to Reuters. As of January 31, 88 percent of the pre-crisis offer should be available to passengers again: 13.667 daily flights, including 2.000 international connections.
