China partially lifts visa requirements

Since December 1, 2023, the People's Republic of China has allowed citizens from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Malaysia, among others, to enter the country without a visa. All you need is a passport that is valid for at least six months.

Between December 1, 2023 and probably November 30, 2024, people who have the aforementioned citizenship can enter the People's Republic of China without a visa for up to 15 days. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this is permitted for private, tourist and business purposes.
