Since May 1, 2023, Air Baltic and Turkish Airlines have been working together as part of a codeshare partnership. The agreement allows both airlines to offer more flexibility to their passengers on non-stop flights between Turkey and Latvia.

Air Baltic Managing Director Martin Gauss said: “We are delighted to enter into a codeshare agreement with our partner Turkish Airlines for our new flights between Riga, Latvia and Istanbul, Turkey. This partnership allows travelers from the Baltics to benefit from Turkish Airlines' worldwide network and travelers in Turkey now have a wide choice of Air Baltic destinations in Europe and beyond available to them. We look forward to a successful, long-term cooperation”.

As part of the codeshare cooperation, Air Baltic and Turkish Airlines place their marketing flight numbers on each Riga-Istanbul flight and vice versa. The codeshare agreement is attracting more and more passengers and will allow customers of both airlines to benefit from a seamless connection through their hubs.
