The German leisure airline Condor and David Collado, Tourism Minister of the Dominican Republic, have signed an agreement that provides for at least eight weekly rotations in the summer flight schedule. In winter it will be ten.

It was only recently announced that Air France would be reducing air traffic to the Dominican Republic. Almost as a replacement, Condor could be persuaded to increase the offer. According to the announcement, Condor is to take over the previous slots of the French carrier from summer 2023.

The tourism office and the government are currently trying hard to increase the Europe routes. The supply is still significantly lower than before the corona pandemic.
