Condor and Emirates agree on interlining

The airlines Condor and Emirates announced last week that a bilateral interline agreement had been agreed. Around 79 routes are affected, on which cooperation will take place in the future.

This allows passengers to purchase non-stop tickets. In contrast to so-called code sharing, the flight tickets are “stuffed together” and the luggage is loaded through. The two carriers have also announced that Emirates frequent flyers will in future also be able to collect and redeem miles on Condor connections covered by the agreement. It remains to be seen to what extent the collaboration between a holiday airline and Emirates will be successful for both sides.
