The former Thomas Cook subsidiary reports back to the former GDR capital airport with nine weekly flights.

The German holiday airline Condor celebrated its comeback at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport on Wednesday. The carrier offers a total of nine weekly flights to the Canary Islands and Sardinia. The "comeback flight" took off in the direction of Gran Canaria. In the summer flight schedule, the destinations Tenerife South, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Crete, Kos, Rhodes, Samos and Olbia are available from Schönefeld. These are served by Condor with short-haul aircraft.

“We are looking forward to taking off from Berlin-Schönefeld to the most beautiful holiday destinations as planned this summer. With an Airbus A320 stationed in Berlin, Germany's most popular leisure airline is returning to the capital. Our guests can also feel at home on their vacation trip during these special times: Together with the airports, Condor implements a large number of protective measures, ”says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. Lütke Daldrup, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH: “Welcome to Berlin! We are delighted that Condor will be flying from Schönefeld again and will be bringing travelers from the region to the popular Greek and Spanish holiday islands this summer. The flight destinations offered are an important addition to the flight plan from Berlin. Safe and reliable travel is a high priority for us. Therefore, in addition to the mandatory mouth and nose protection in the terminal areas, we have implemented numerous measures to make it easier for passengers to comply with the applicable distance and hygiene regulations.
