The Supervisory Board of Niederrhein Airport in Weeze has prematurely extended the contract with Managing Director Sebastian Papst by five years until 2030.

Papst, who has been in charge of the airport since October 2020, has been able to increase business and passenger numbers to levels above pre-pandemic levels. Chairman of the Board Herman Buurman emphasized Papst's commitment during a challenging time and praised his success in stabilizing and growing the airport.
