On Tuesday, the Maltese airline Corendon Europe took up the destination Gran Canaria in Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden. According to the airport, there were around 140 passengers on board.

The second first flight took place on Wednesday towards Hurghada. The destination Fuerteventura is also in the program. All three destinations are served once a week from Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden, according to the FKB in a broadcast.

The advance bookings should show that "the new routes are already well received". Corendon currently assumes that all flights can be carried out as shown in the flight plan.
