Corendon is making significant cuts in Germany

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The holiday airlines Corendon and Corendon Europe are significantly reducing their presence in Germany. Many seasonal routes will be sent into the seasonal winter break earlier than originally announced.

At almost all German airports that are served, there will be cuts and early route cancellations from August 2022. In some cases, flights are also combined and stopovers are made, for example in Friedrichshafen or Palma de Mallorca. The focus of the deletions is obviously on Turkey connections.

But holiday destinations such as Lamezia Terme or Heraklion are also affected from some airports. Depending on the airport location, it is a matter of individual routes that are temporarily suspended or an entire "concert concert". Below are the changes broken down by airport. Corendon declined to comment on the cuts in Germany.

This is the second time that I have been affected by seasonal cancellations. In March Memmingen-Hurghada and now for October Friedrichshafen-Rhodes. And the trouble with the organizers, who react unsatisfactorily

That's not true for Paderborn either! We were already put on our arrival at Düsseldorf on August 15.8.22th, 16.8.22. Normal would be landing on August XNUMXth, XNUMX in Paderborn, where our car is also parked. Corendon can no longer be trusted. When calling, there are only figures that I don't understand because no German is spoken. A mess we'll never fly with again.

One thing should be clear to all travelers:
    1. no more flights via Corendon
    2. No booking through the tour operator FTI

Thank you for ruining our vacation (with 2 children) in September!!!
To their cheek they offered us alternative connections with significant additional costs

Hopefully there will be consequences (according to Corendon, significantly more flights from Germany will be offered in 2023)

We flew from Berlin to Antalya on July 12.7.22th, 26.7 without any problems. But the return flight was a disaster. On July 15th, we were supposed to leave at 15:21 p.m. Turkish time. But we didn't leave until 23 p.m. Then we landed in Hanover without any information. At night at 15:10 p.m. German time. We got off and were only told that we would now be taken to hotels. But no, the buses took us straight to Berlin. So we landed in Berlin almost 2 hours late. We were offered something to eat and drink (in Antalya at Burger King). But we only had an hour to get something to eat. And since many families didn't get it, we only had food at our own expense (1 Cokes and 19 water, €XNUMX).
We are now trying to get compensation. Let's see what comes out of it.

Unfortunately, there have been no flights from Hanover to Dalaman since September 09.09.2022th, 24. The tour operator has not yet been informed, CHECK23.09.2022 told me. I still don't know whether my booked package tour on September XNUMXrd, XNUMX will actually take place. I don't understand why Anex Tours supposedly doesn't know anything about it yet.
