Corendon: Rhodes flights from Graz and Linz on the brink

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In Graz and Linz, among other places, the Rhodes flights offered by Corendon Europe are on the brink. The carrier has stopped selling tickets. The offer from Stuttgart, Erfurt and Rostock-Laage is also affected.

The Corendon Group is likely to have made a mistake in the 2022 summer flight schedule, because in several steps the offer was severely reduced. The string concert continued into the current winter period 2022/23. A few days ago it was announced that the carrier will revise the summer offer for 2023 in order to be able to operate profitably. In the warm season of 2022, Corendon is also special thanks to the use of noticed by many wet lease aircraft.

In the meantime, the carrier has stopped selling Rhodes flight tickets from some airports. Graz, Linz, Rostock-Laage, Erfurt and Stuttgart are among those affected. These are marked as "sold out" in the reservation system and therefore cannot be booked. So far, this has always been the harbinger of an imminent abandonment of the route at Corendon. When asked, the company did not comment on the future of the affected routes, so it is completely unclear whether there will be flights to Rhodes from Graz, Linz and the other affected airports in summer 2023 or not. Already in winter 2022/23 are from Austrian airports the Canary Islands flights have been cancelled.
