No, the Belarusian airline Belavia definitely does not fly to the Netherlands on a Boeing 737 Max with Turkish registration. It is a Corendon Airlines aircraft, which was originally intended for Belavia, but was not allowed to be handed over to them due to the sanctions.
The TC-MKE already received the livery of the Belarus airline ex works. The reason for this is simple: this Boeing 737 Max 8 was actually intended for the Belarusian carrier and was already complete. However, the machine should not be delivered because of the sanctions that were imposed on Belarus.
Corendon Airlines then found itself as an alternative customer. Of course, Corendon Airlines does not want to fly in Belavia livery and has therefore already had the affected medium-haul jet repainted in Maastricht, the Netherlands. The TC-MKE was transferred from the "Paintshop" to Antalya on June 18, 2022 and is in scheduled service in the standard livery of Corendon Airlines.
