The number of long-haul providers could increase in Germany: The French Corsair has been speculating for a long time about entering the German market. Now this should really happen.

"We are planning flights from Germany to a few selected long-haul destinations that fit into Corsair's existing network," said Peter Oncken from Corsair majority owner Intro Aviation to Aviation Week magazine.

Of course, there is also a German-speaking crew on board for him. Despite the more specific planning, the project could not even be realized. Because Intro Aviation is currently in negotiations with possible new shareholders, such as aerotelegraph.com reported. That could then lead to the complete exit of the German investment company - and thus also put the project on hold.
