The Croatian Star Alliance member Croatia Airlines is said to be in negotiations with Airbus about the cancellation of four Airbus A320neo. Originally, the first two units should have been handed over in 2022. The other two copies would have followed in 2023.
According to Ex-Yu-Aviation, the carrier has already made advance payments of 8,5 million euros to Airbus. The price at which the four medium-haul jets were purchased was never publicly announced. Now they are trying to get out of the contracts and try to negotiate that the payments already made can be used for other services of the Airbus Group, a spokeswoman for Croatia Airlines told the Portal.
