DER: Customers can buy Corona self-tests when booking

Advertising

DER is using its bag of tricks to make traveling in Corona times more attractive: The German tour operator will in future be offering a Covid-19 self-test in addition to booking.

This is intended to comply with national entry requirements, as reported by reisevor9.de . Due to rising infection rates, more and more countries are requiring a negative COVID-19 test. After self-administering the test swab, the sample is sent to the laboratory, and the result is delivered online within 48 hours. The standard gargle test costs €129. For those in a hurry, an express option is available for an additional €24, providing results within one day. The pilot project begins on November 2nd in three selected branches, with plans to expand the service nationwide.
