Cyprus Airways is now an A220 operator

Advertising

On August 310, 9, Cyprus Airways operated the first flight with the Airbus A2023-220 type under flight number CY300. This led from Larnaka to Athens and was carried out with the 5B-DEA.

The carrier decided some time ago that it will fleet some leased Airbus A220-300s. The first two copies should have originally gone to Air Senegal. In contrast to other European airlines, Air Cyprus not only offers free middle seats on eco seats in business class, but real business class seats.

However, only on those two A220s that were originally intended for Air Senegal. The ten other copies that will be brought in will have all-eco seating. The Cypriot aviation company will convert its fleet entirely to the Canadian Airbus type.
