Dan Air begins flights with stopovers from Bacau

The Romanian airline Dan Air will – as reported – withdraw from Brasov. Numerous routes, including some that were previously offered from Bucharest, are being relocated to Bacau. There are also plans to operate three routes as so-called direct flights.

From November 13, 2023, Dan Air wants to offer direct flights from Bacau to Nuremberg. These have a stopover in Stuttgart. From November 14, 2023 you want to fly directly to Madrid, with a stopover in Barcelona. Brussels will be served from November 15, 2023 with a stopover in Munich.

Unlike non-stop flights, direct flights can have any number of stopovers. What is important is that the flight number remains the same. Many people who fly infrequently are not aware of this because many people wrongly assume that a direct flight is a flight without a stopover. But this is not the case.
