About two weeks after the new election, the new board of the German flight attendant union UFO was constituted. The chairman is now Daniel Kassa Mbuambi, who is a flight attendant at Lufthansa.
Anja Bronstert, who previously headed the union, will remain as deputy chairwoman. “I am very pleased that my fellow board members, along with me and the representatives of other UFO committees, are initiating the long promised realignment of the UFO. An important goal will be to remain the crisis partner for our members and, when air traffic gradually increases again and the airlines get out of crisis mode, to fend off the desires of employers. Of course, it also has to be about getting back on par with social partners, ”said Mbuambi
The seven-member UFO board of directors began its work today for a four-year term. In the constituent meeting this morning, in addition to the chairmen, the departments with the seven newly elected board members were filled as follows:
