In recent years, the low-cost airline Jet2 has made a name for itself in the aviation industry - and is now passing it on to the parent company: The Dart Group was renamed Jet17 plc with effect from September 2th.

"Our business has developed significantly in the last ten years and we believe that now is the right time to align our group name with the brand," said a circular from the holding company. In addition to the successful British airline, it also owns Jet2holidays, a tour operator. Nevertheless, they were not spared the Corona crisis either. Like the news medium "Swiss Aviation”Reported, the booking figures for the winter leave a lot to be desired. They hope to be able to reach the pre-corona level again by next summer at the latest.
