The British airline DEA Aviation, based at Gamston Airport, will set up an EU offshoot. This will be based in Malta. The first two aircraft have already been registered in the smallest member state of the European Union.

According to Mavio News, these are the Diamond DA42 with the registration 9H-DGB and the DA62 with the identifier 9H-DGM. The application for an AOC and an operating license has already been submitted to the Maltese Civil Aviation Authority. You are currently in the middle of the approval process.

The DA42 shown in the photos was photographed on April 26, 2021 on Apron 3 at Luqa Airport and is waiting for its next use. The aircraft is used by the EU agency Frontex for patrol flights south of Malta near the Libyan border.
