Even the insolvent Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is currently suffering from a lack of staff. Insolvency administrator Jan Markus Plathner is looking for new employees. Most recently, the wave of Easter travel gave Hunsrück Airport new impetus.

The lawyer confirmed that flight operations can also be maintained in May 2022. There is a particular need for additional employees in the area of ground handling services. The insolvent airport currently employs around 430 people.

Frankfurt-Hahn had to file for bankruptcy in October 2021. The background was that the Chinese majority owner HNA collapsed under the mountain of debt that had accumulated over many years. The German regional airport was also sucked into this whirlpool. According to official information, several interested parties are interested in taking over the airport.
