The German aircraft manufacturer is now a member of Aireg eV (Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany).
The company that builds the Dornier 328 under license wants to develop the more environmentally friendly and efficient D328eco variant on its basis.
“We are very pleased to welcome Deutsche Aircraft GmbH on board Aireg. With its technology roadmap, Deutsche Aircraft is moving from the current environmentally harmful aviation to lower CO2-Emissions using sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and also examines alternative drive technologies, for example based on hydrogen, ”says Melanie Form, member of the board and head of the office.
