Deutsche Bahn AG intends to reorganize its "Bahn Comfort" bonus program with effect from June 13, 2022. In the future, based on frequent flyer programs, there will be three status levels that contain different services.

At the moment you can use 2.000 points, which have to be collected within 12 months, to use, among other things, the DB lounges that are available at larger train stations. Otherwise, these passengers are reserved for first-class tickets. Deutsche Bahn has not yet given any further information about what changes there will be in concrete terms.

The only fix is that you will reach the first level with 1.500 points. The second level is set at 2.500 and the highest status at 6.000 points. Further details will only be communicated at the beginning of June 2022. "The higher the status level, the more attractive the benefits become," the company explains without giving details.
