A current survey has shown that many travel agencies in Germany are currently experiencing extremely high demand. However, bookings continue to be made at short notice. But not all agencies can benefit from the current boom.

The Counter-vor-9 portal conducted a survey among 300 travel agencies. 27 percent of those surveyed stated that there is currently a very high level of bookings. 49 percent stated that it should be rather high. But not everyone is benefiting from the current high demand, because numerous agencies also stated that they are already feeling dampening factors due to higher prices.

70 percent of travel agencies stated that bookings are still made at short notice. For 12 percent of the survey participants, bookings should only be made very shortly before departure. Longer-term bookings should continue to be rare. The factors for this are different, but to put it simply, a mixture of the unclear situation as to how Corona will continue in autumn 2022 and the war in Ukraine.
