The German federal government hesitated longer than other governments before blocking the airspace for Russian aircraft and airlines. Since Sunday, 15:00 p.m., the sky over Germany has also been taboo.

As a result, airlines and machines related to the Russian Federation are not allowed to fly over or into the Federal Republic of Germany until further notice. The ban was issued by the Federal Ministry of Transport for an initial period of three months, although this could be extended if necessary.

Previously, numerous other EU countries, including Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia, Belgium, the Netherlands and many other comparable measures. The EU Commission intends to close the entire airspace over the European Union for aircraft and airlines from the Russian Federation. The Putin regime always reacts promptly with a counterban. It is therefore to be expected that air traffic between the EU and Russia will be interrupted for a longer period of time.
