A new variant of the corona virus has been making the rounds in Great Britain for a few days. At least ten England passengers had tested positive for the virus on the last permitted flights to Germany.

The people concerned landed in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hanover and Dortmund, like the news magazine NTV reported. It is still unclear whether they have become infected with the mutated variant of the virus. The authorities cannot rule out anything at this point in time. Almost all governments are currently banning flights from the United Kingdom - including Austria UK flights since yesterday. The danger that travelers take the dangerous mutation on board is too great.
