German vacationers can now pass through border control without a PCR test certificate. Because Cyprus puts Germany on the list of safe countries.

Previously, travelers had to show a negative PCR test that was no more than 72 hours old on arrival. It can be dispensed with in the future. Regardless of this, it must be expected that passengers will be randomly tested after arrival in Cyprus, informs the Foreign Office. A refusal results in an entry ban. Fully immunized people who were vaccinated at least 14 days ago still don't have to worry about that.

For them there is no need to test. Only online registration before departure is still required for all travelers in order to receive the Cyprus Flight Pass. For this purpose, a questionnaire must be filled out online and an extensive waiver of liability vis-à-vis the Republic of Cyprus in relation to a COVID-19 disease must be declared. The flight pass must be printed out and carried with you on the flight, including proof of vaccination if available.

Austrian holidaymakers have already benefited from easier entry if they can prove a permanent stay in the Alpine republic two weeks before departure.
