The discussions about the German ban on accommodation should belong to history once and for all, because the Germans are closing down. From November 2nd, lockdown-like conditions will apply nationwide, restaurants will have to close and a ban on domestic travel activities will be declared.

The infection rate is increasing at a rapid pace, today the Robert Koch Institute reports 16.774 new infections - a new high. That's why Chancellor Angela Merkel pulls the emergency brake and announces drastic measures to initiate the U-turn. The measures should apply until the end of the month, like Reisevor9.de reported. The travel industry in particular is hit hard: "Accommodation offers in Germany are only made available for necessary and expressly non-tourist purposes," says the decision. So the autumn holidays definitely have to be spent at home. Because all catering establishments and “events that are part of entertainment” must also close.
