DHL Air Austria is to operate 18 Boeing 757-200s

The new Austrian cargo airline DHL Air Austria has been in the air for a few days. A Boeing 757-200 is currently registered at the AOC with the OE-LNZ. The fleet will initially grow to 18 units of this type.

The home base of the new establishment is Linz-Hörsching Airport, where DHL was already active. The establishment of the new freight airline is at the expense of the sister company in the United Kingdom, because all of the machines in the Initial fleet are being withdrawn from DHL Air UK to the new airline in Austria.

However, this will not only be active from Austria, but will be used within the entire DHL network. The first flight was from Budapest. With DHL Air Austria, Deutsche Post-DHL also wants to prepare for further growth within the DHL Express brand, the company announced a few weeks ago.
