The logistics group Deutsche Post-DHL is adding another six Boeing 767-300ERs to its freighter fleet in Bahrain. These are former passenger planes that have been converted into cargo machines.
Two of the new additions are to replace older B767-200s. The fleet is to be built up with the remaining four units, reports CH-Aviation.com. The conversion of the long-haul aircraft will be carried out by Israel Aerospace Industries. In total, the DHL Group is taking over eight Boeing 767s that were previously used by American Airlines.
