Food from Do & Co will continue to be served on board the Austrian Airlines. The two companies announced on Wednesday that the contract would be extended to 2027. On the short and medium-haul routes, paid catering is marketed under the “Henry for Austrian” brand.

Do & Co has been providing meals on board the Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary since 2007. The company's own Airest operation was previously sold to the caterer. The catering business was able to build up the airline catering segment from the 1990s and had Lauda Air as its first customer. After the takeover and integration of the airline founded by Niki Lauda, the cooperation with Do & Co was continued, because this company took over the Group's own catering company Airest.

"We are very pleased that we can continue this successful partnership and that we can jointly carry Austrian hospitality around the world," said Attila Doğudan, founder and chairman of the Do & Co board.

As a catering partner, Do & Co will continue to ensure the physical well-being of all Austrian Airlines passengers on medium-haul flights over three hours, on long-haul flights from Vienna, on Austrian Holidays charter flights and in business class on European flights. The freshly produced dishes in the new catering offer on flights of up to 180 minutes, the “Austrian Melangerie”, also come from Do & Co: soon, passengers will be able to choose from a selection of high quality dishes from the exclusive Do & Co brand “Henry for Austrian”. The focus is on Austrian classics such as apple strudel or board snack.

“With the contract extension we are continuing our long and successful cooperation with Do & Co. With this we continue to underline our premium claim on board and can offer our guests an excellent catering service, ”says Michael Trestl, member of the Austrian Airlines board of management.
