The Austrian catering company Do & Co was able to increase sales again in the first half of the 2021/22 financial year. The previous period was characterized by an almost complete standstill of international air traffic. This also affected the supplier.

Since the end of March 2021, Do & Co has also been supplying the airline Delta with products in economy class. Just one quarter after the start of the cooperation, the Economy Class menus from Detroit were switched from frozen purchased products to fresh menus on all long-haul routes. All Nippon Airways has also been cooking since June 2021. The flights from Frankfurt am Main and Munich are supplied. From November 2021, Do & Co will also be supplying the catering for Etihad Airways at these two airports. After taking over all catering services for all Iberia and Iberia Express departures from Madrid-Barajas in February 2020, Do & Co has also been taking care of buy-on-board catering for all Iberia Express flights since June 16, 2021.

Despite the gloomy market environment, the Airline Catering division posted a massive increase in sales of 164,5 percent compared to the previous year. Sales in the first half of the 2021/2022 financial year amounted to EUR 208,46 million (previous year: EUR 78,81 million). EBITDA of EUR 38,40 million was EUR 31,75 million higher than the same period of the previous year. The EBIT amounts to 19,59 million euros (previous year: -15,05 million euros).
