The Greek airline Skyexpress carried out the first flight between Heraklion and Dortmund on Sunday. This route is to be operated twice a week in the future. Aircraft of the type Airbus A320neo are used as aircraft.

“Skyexpress is a fast-growing airline with a modern fleet that is an excellent match for Dortmund Airport. We are pleased to be able to expand the offer for our customers ”, says Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport.

The Greek airline will operate the Crete route on Tuesday and Sunday in October 2021. In the previous year, the carrier surprised with the order for the Airbus A320neo. Previously, it was a pure turboprop operator and primarily active within Greece.
