Yesterday, the Hungarian airline Wizzair took off from Dortmund for Porto for the first time.

The low-coster will initially only operate the route over the Christmas holidays until January 10, 2021. From March 28 of next year, i.e. at the beginning of the summer flight schedule, the Hungarian airline will then be offering the route on Wednesdays and Sundays from Dortmund Airport , as can be seen from the airport notification. “Porto is popular with tourists, but also an important destination for the many people in our catchment area who have Portuguese roots.
