The variety of airlines at Dortmund Airport is growing.

Good news for all Greece fans: Sky Express will fly from Dortmund to Heraklion from May 23, 2021 - on Tuesdays and Sundays. It is the first route that the Greek airline will operate from Dortmund Airport. The flights can already be booked, as they say. “Last year we saw that the newly introduced routes to the Greek islands were very popular right from the start. That is why we are particularly pleased that we can expand our services to Crete this year with Sky Express ”, says Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing. Dortmund Airport also suffered from the consequences of the crisis. Around 1,2 million passengers will use the airport for their trips in 2020. The number of passengers fell by 2019 percent compared to the record year 55.
