The low-coster connects the commercial airport with the Black Sea coast.

Between June 10 and September 11, 2021, passengers have the chance to travel from Dortmund Airport to Burgas. Wizz Air flies to the city in Bulgaria three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. "This enables our passengers from Dortmund and the region to fly to the Black Sea coast during the summer months," said Wizz Air spokesman Andras Rado. The flights can already be booked now. Besides Sofia and Varna, Burgas is the third city in Bulgaria that travelers can reach directly from Dortmund. It is already the 46th destination that Wizz Air would like to fly to from Dortmund Airport in the summer.
