Because of Air Show: Bucharest-Baneasa closes for a week

On August 26, 2023, the Bucharest Air Show will take place at Bucharest-Baneasa Airport. For this reason, the airport close to the city will be closed to commercial traffic for around a week. 

According to the airport authority, scheduled and charter flights must take place between 22.-29. August 2023 switch to the larger Otopeni Airport. Baneasa was closed to commercial traffic for a number of years but has been reactivated. For example, Aeroitalia has shifted the offer to this airport.
