With Lars Redeligx and Pradeep Pinakatt, Düsseldorf Airport is getting a new dual leadership. The background is that the two previous managing directors will leave the company. Both at their own request.

Thomas Schnalke, who has been on the management board of Düsseldorf Airport for over 20 years, is not renewing his contract. He is therefore leaving the airport at the end of the year at his own request. Lars Mosdorf is also retiring – also at his own request – on December 31, 2022. As a result, the supervisory board had to look for two new managing directors.

Lars Redeligx, who worked for the Lufthansa Group, among others, will take over from Schnalke. In his career to date, he has held positions including Chief Commercial Officer of Brussels Airlines and Managing Director of LSG. He currently works as CEO of the private rail freight company Lineas in Brussels.

An internal successor solution was found for the position of Lars Mosdorf. Pradeep Pinakatt, who has been the managing director of the ground handling subsidiary since 2017, will be promoted to the management of Düsseldorf Airport. As of November 1, 2022, he will take over the finance and human resources agendas. Pinakatt will also serve as labor director.
