Contrary to the original announcement, the holiday airline Condor will not fly between Germany and Lebanon in the 2022 summer flight schedule. The Beirut flights planned from Düsseldorf have been canceled and have since been removed from sale.

The company confirmed the fact to Aviation.DIrect, but did not provide any further information on the reasons. It is obvious that Condor the necessary traffic rights, which are currently allocated to Sundair, Eurowings and Lufthansa. The German Federal Ministry of Transport recently tried to increase the number, but it seems that Lebanon has not (yet) given the necessary approval.

“It is correct that Beirut will not be included in Condor's summer flight schedule this year. Guests who have already booked can receive flight credit over the ticket price or get their money back – each guest can decide for themselves,” a Condor spokeswoman told Aviation.Direct.
