DUS: Lars Redeligx takes over as managing director earlier than planned

The Supervisory Board of Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH has already appointed Lars Redeligx as Managing Director on December 1st, one month earlier than announced. Thomas Schnalke leaves the airport at the turn of the year.

Redeligx is currently the managing director of the private rail freight company Lineas in Brussels. On January 1, 2023, he will succeed Thomas Schnalke as the new CEO, who will retire when his contract expires at the end of 2022 after more than 20 years as a manager at Düsseldorf Airport. 

At the same time, on January 1, 2023, Pradeep Pinakatt will succeed Lars Mosdorf as Chief Financial Officer and Labor Director. Pinakatt has been Managing Director of Düsseldorf Airport Ground Handling GmbH (FDGHG) since 2017. In mid-June, the airport's supervisory board had already appointed him as managing director of Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH on November 1, 2022. "In terms of continuous corporate development, these interlocking personnel changes at the top of the airport ensure a seamless handover of business," the airport said in a press release.

Effective November 1.11.2022, 1, Stephanie Jelinek, previously Head of Commercial and Human Resources at FDGHG, will succeed Pradeep Pinakatt in the management of Flughafen Ground Handling GmbH. As of January 2023, 2010, the airport welcomes Henning Pfisterer as the new Senior Vice President Aviation and Accountable Manager at Düsseldorf Airport was at Doha Airport.
