The chairman of Düsseldorf Airport, Thomas Schnalke, and his chief financial officer Lars Mosdorf are handing over their posts to two new people: Lars Redeligx takes over the chairmanship, and Pradeep Pinakatt the commercial departments and the function of labor director.

Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH got a new management on January 1, 2023. The new chairman is Lars Redeligx, with Pradeep Pinakatt taking over the commercial departments and the function of labor director. They follow Thomas Schnalke and Lars Mosdorf.

“In 2023 we will continue to operate in an environment with major economic and operational challenges. At the same time, as the airport team, we have the opportunity to actively shape the future of changing air traffic in the interests of our customers. Above all, we want to achieve an improvement in quality for our passengers and promote the further development of the airport into a sustainable mobility hub," says Lars Redeligx, the new CEO of Düsseldorf Airport.

“We will make our contribution to sustainable air traffic and be climate-neutral by 2035 at the latest. On the way there, we very consciously want to invest in close, trusting cooperation with our partners and rely on the commitment and ideas of everyone at our location. We want to inspire them to work at our airport, offer them a modern and attractive working environment and create further training opportunities," says Pradeep Pinakatt.

The state capital Düsseldorf holds 50 percent of the shares in Flughafen Düsseldorf GmbH. Airport Partners GmbH holds the remaining 50 percent. This is a shareholder consortium of the Düsseldorf-based Avi Alliance GmbH and the Irish airport operator Aer Rianta International.
