In Germany, numerous former Laudamotion employees at the Stuttgart and Düsseldorf bases, which were closed in the previous year, are suing their dismissals. Now there are first judgments of the first instance in North Rhine-Westphalia: The lawsuits were dismissed by the responsible labor court.

The situation in Düsseldorf is particularly confused, as the employees are already at Successor company Lauda Europe Ltd. were moved. As a result, both Laudamotion GmbH and Lauda Europe Ltd. have repeatedly sent the termination letters. Apparently one was no longer so sure who was the employer at what point in time.

In North Rhine-Westphalia the ruling has so far only been in favor of Lauda, ​​although the judgments are not yet final, as the defendants still have the opportunity to appeal. In the near future, around 50 further cases are to be negotiated in Düsseldorf in the first instance.

There are also numerous lawsuits pending in Austria. For example, pregnant employees at Laudamotion GmbH fDeclared illegal. Since the management of the Austrian company refused to recognize the works council and contested the election in court, a court had to decide: The company was defeated.
