Easter: Easyjet hangs up Hamburg-Palma

The low-cost airline Easyjet Europe wants to have another piece of the “Mallorca cake” around Easter. The carrier will start two weekly non-stop flights from Hamburg to Palma on April 1, 2020. The route is to be served by an Airbus A320 stationed in Spain.

The Lifting of the German travel warning for the Balearic Islands led to a real one Boom in new bookings. So have among other things Eurowings, Lufthansa, Vueling, sunday and Easyjet launched additional flights around Easter. The Lufthansa low-cost airline recently halted its offer again by 50 flights.

Easyjet has one from Switzerland and Germany increased demand towards Portugal and Spain. The new route from Hamburg is initially to be offered on Thursday and Sunday until May 23, 2021. A possible continuation into summer 2021 has not yet been finalized.
