Easyjet expands Flex tariffs

Easyjet has revised its guidelines once again as part of its Flex Guarantee.

This summer, all customers can rebook their flights at any time up to two hours before departure without a rebooking fee. In contrast to other airlines, there are no restrictions on date or destination: all flights on offer until the end of September 2022 can be rebooked.

"This means that our passengers can easily rebook their trip to another country in the Easyjet route network in the event of travel restrictions in their destination country, such as quarantine on arrival or on the return journey," the company announced on Wednesday morning. Even a refund due to local lockdowns and travel bans is included. This also applies to flights that are carried out according to plan.

“We know that many people want to travel to see friends and family or to go on a long-awaited vacation. Flexibility is still crucial for our customers. We have therefore adjusted our flexibility guarantee even further in order to support our customers with their summer travel planning for this year and any restrictions, ”says Thomas Haagensen, Managing Director of Easyjet Europe. The airline believes that travel is safe between most European countries this summer will be possible.
