The low-cost airline Easyjet wants to have even more Airbus A320neo aircraft. Seven more firm orders were placed and purchase rights for twelve copies were secured. Deliveries are to take place between January 2025 and September 2027.

There was no major announcement of this order. Easyjet provides information on this in the latest annual report. The purchase of the additional A320neo should therefore take place under the conditions that were agreed in 2013.

Taking into account the latest order, Airbus now has 106 A320neo and 16 A321neo from Easyjet on its books. The low-cost airline also has six options for the A320neo and 53 purchase rights. With the latter, there is also the option of converting this to A321neo, although there is no final decision in this regard.
