The United Kingdom is already in the third lockdown due to the rising corona numbers. This also forces Easyjet to act: The low-coster is cutting its flight schedule.

After a new type of Covid-19 variant was discovered in the UK, landing bans were literally hailed - hardly any government allows UK planes to land. That's why Easyjet will be limited to a few connections from January 10th. However, this will initially set all connections in the DACH area. The low-cost airline will only fly to larger cities within Great Britain and a few cities in southern Europe. The carrier still has London, Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, Belfast and Scotland on various routes in its program. In addition, Easyjet will start from the London-Gatwick hub to Lanzarote, Malaga, Alicante, Funchal, Geneva, Milan and Tenerife Reisetopia.de.
