The low-cost airline Easyjet will no longer fly to Israel in the 2024 summer flight schedule. The carrier has canceled all existing bookings and removed the routes from sale. The aim is currently to restart the 2024/25 winter flight schedule.
The airline is reacting to the already extremely weak demand due to the tense security situation and is using capacity on other routes. This is probably not only for safety-related reasons, but primarily for commercial reasons, as other routes enjoy significantly higher demand, meaning that more money can be earned on them.
