Edelweiss places a wooden airplane seat at the top of the pass

The Edelweiss holiday airline has had a symbolic wooden airplane seat set up at the top of the Oberalp pass, right on the canton border between Uri and Graubünden.

The background is also that in September 2022 the Airbus A320 with the registration HB-JLS was christened "Oberalp". “For me, as a passionate motorcyclist, driving on this mountain pass is just as inspiring as traveling to one of the many Edelweiss holiday destinations. And on these trips we can make the Oberalp even better known with our Airbus A320,” says David Birrer, Chief Operating Officer of Edelweiss.
