Edelweiss announces three new winter destinations

The holiday airline Edelweiss will offer a total of 2020 destinations in eleven countries in the 21/25 winter flight schedule. Agadir, Sharm El Sheikh and Sal are new to the program. The new routes will start in October 2020. 

“The Swiss are booking their trips at shorter notice than in the past. Holidays to typical bathing holiday destinations are also very popular in the winter months. An intact tourist infrastructure and high demands on health security are particularly important to us at this time, ”says Patrick Heymann, Chief Commercial Officer of Edelweiss.

From October 1, 2020, Edelweiss will be offering a weekly flight to Agadir. From October 2, 2020, Edelweiss will be flying from Zurich to Sharm El Sheik up to twice a week. From October 26, 2020, Edelweiss will serve Sal on the Cape Verde Islands once a week from Zurich.

  • Greece: Heraklion, Kalamata
  • Italy: Catania, Lamezia Terme
  • Cape Verde: Sal
  • Kosovo: Pristina
  • Morocco: Agadir, Marrakech
  • North Macedonia: Skopje
  • Portugal: Faro, Funchal
  • Scotland: Edinburgh
  • Spain: Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Lanzarote, La Palma, Palma de Mallorca, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Tenerife
  • Cyprus: Larnaca
