The carrier plans to fly to around 60 holiday destinations from Switzerland from the beginning of July.

The Swiss holiday airline Edelweiss brought the first two Airbus A320 aircraft back to Zurich-Kloten on Tuesday. The jets were temporarily parked at Dübendorf airfield due to the corona crisis. The sister company Swiss is now also transferring aircraft back to Zurich.

Edelweiss stated in a broadcast that the remaining three Airbus A320s will be flown back to their home base in the coming week. The HB-IJW and the HB-IJU are already located in Zurich. With the transfer to Zurich Airport, Edelweiss is preparing for the summer flight schedule, which will again include flights to an expected 60 short- and long-haul destinations from July.
